What should I do about shady financial practices by my employer?

Currently, I am employed as a server in a local restaurant. Unlike every other restaurant I've ever worked in, this particular one chooses to disperse our credit card tips in our weekly paycheck as opposed to receiving all our tips in cash (credit card included) at the end of every night. Also, I recently had my own issue of them accidentally clocking in an employee under my number so that her tips technically went to me for the night and then showed up on my paycheck. They told me that the only thing I could do would be to write her a check for the tips for that night, which makes sense if you don't consider taxes or the fact that those earnings are going to be reported on my income statement. Couldn't they have just withheld the tips from my next paycheck, reimbursed me for the taxes, then credited her on her next check? Ok. So a judgment was put on my credit back in 2005 - I really didn't care if it was valid or not until now because I really need my credit for something. Extending Shingles on Roof?

I had to extend the shingles on the rear of my house yesterday. Water was going behind the gutter and soaking the fascia board (which i believe was leading to a moisture problem in my attic) I did so by following some advice and sliding some aluminum flashing under the last row of shingles extedning them out over the gutter. Im sitting here thinking about it and I think I may have extended them too far, (about 2" out). I ran a hose on the roof for quite some time and got a good flow of water going into the gutter, nothign splashing over. I just wanted to see if 2" was actually too far where it could cause problems, becuase I keep seeing 1/2" to 3/4" as being the normal distance. Not really looking forward to climbing back up there just to puch them in another inch. Thanks for any help.

I ran the Big D marathon and found a discrepancy of 1 mile. My GPS and Google maps both show the course to be nearly 27.2 miles. I was almost sued by my apartment complex for 7,000$ in back rent and there lawyer contacted via certified letter i contacted him back and said I don't owe this much because i have a letter stating i was living here rent free until a certain time due to it being section 8 this was ok. Shortly after the time where the letter says i need to start paying rent they sent me this letter saying i owed all the rent since i lived there. I would suggest eating 1200 calories a day. And cut back on all the hard core exercising. The reason why you weigh 158 is probably from all the built up muscle in your body. So for exercising I would say walk an hour and a half, and then do pilates. It really works. I hope this helped (:

Okay, so there's this girl who i have been talking to for a little while now, atleast a couple of months. We never actually hungout till this past weekend, but we hung out like 4 days in a row all day. Last night we both slept over a friends house together, didn't have sex or anything but we did hook up a little bit. Now she doesn't always seem like she's totally interested and for some reason i get caught up in my feelings and like keep asking her whas wrong. I paid my account even though it was past due to a lawyer representing the first bank of Delaware back in 2010 I haven't heard from them since. Now in June of 2011 I have got a letter stating i now owe these new people for the same debt the First National Collection bureau How is this possible? looking online some reports claim this is a scam of sorts they buy old or near the statue of limitation accounts and press for money has anybody else dealt with this person?

Question about shin splints?

Im trying to get into shape because I plan on enlisting in the navy and I run 4 days in a row about 3 miles in a half hour. After the fourth day I have really bad shin splints. Im wondering will these get less frequent the stronger my legs get or am just screwed?

Does getting a filling hurt?

I am going to the dentist tomarrow and i am getting a filling on one of my top row teeth. I got a filling a long time ago on a baby tooth but all i can remember is that they used gas instead of giving me a shot. I am terrified of the dentist! and after the filling i am going to wait for like an hour then get my teeth cleaned. Boyfriend advice please? (guys and girls welcome)?

Okay so lately when my boyfriend and I have been going out, annoying stuff has been happening. One time we were waiting to cross a street and a car full of teenage guys (my boyfriend and I are both 18) was driving by and they yelled "is she your sister?". Another time, we were getting gas and two guys at the gas station (at a pump a few rows away) waved at us. They looked kind of familiar so I hesitantly waved back and glanced away. When I looked back at them, one was holding up his phone and pointed to it and then to me. After both these instances, I blushed and my boyfriend looked rather dejected and was really quiet for the next several minutes. I don't really get it though. I mean, I think he is hotter than I am (and I tell him that he's hot and that I'm lucky to be with him) yet he doesn't really believe me/think he is good enough for me. What can I do to cheer him up/help with the situation/show him that if anything, I'm the one who is not good enough? Endocrinologist says one thing and Ob/Gyn says another...?

I am confused. My ob/gyn said according to my blood tests, my thyroid is fine and has no issues. She said it would in no way affect my fertility. However, my primary doctor said I have mild hypothyroidism with a multinodular goiter (you can feel it even) and sent me off to an endocrinologist who sent me for several tests of my thryoid (biopsy, nuclear scan and ultrasound) and confirmed that I have Hashimoto's disease. Why is my ob/gyn still insisting there is no problem? This is the second one to say my thyroid is fine - clearly it's not. Do they know anything about your thyroid? Why would she keep insisting there is no problem when clearly there is - confirmed by 2 separate doctors? THIS is contributing to my infertility but my ob/gyn says that's not true.. WHAT? Can someone tell me why there is such a discrepancy?

Six Flags Over Georgia Flash Pass?

We're planning a trip to Six Flags Over Georgia in about 3 weeks. I've read the site about the flash passes and the 3 levels and their prices. I'm wondering if someone can explain to me in a little more detail about how each one works... more detail that the site provides. From what I understood so far is the basic one allows you to check in and then go do something else during the wait time rather than standing in line (thus stand in line for another ride and then go back to the first one). Which to me, means you basically wait in line for one and ride 2 and then so on. For the next option it just says less wait time and the platinum option it says the least wait time and you can ride each one twice in a row. But, I'd like a little more detail mostly about how the second and third option work?? There's really a big price difference. Can you just run through the park in the beginning and flash everything you want to ride and then go back and ride them? Or do you just go up and show your pass and ride whatever you want whenever??? I keep having dreams about the end of the world? does this mean something?

Guilt and Anger - my dog died after getting neutered?

My dog was 12 yrs old. I brought him in to get him groomed(which is attached to vets)before I collected him they asked me to go in and see the vet. She said he was in pain and 'had' to have the operation to get neutered. He had lumps around his anus which bled sometimes or he scraped his bum along the ground. I knew that sometimes he was in pain and this was on my mind to bring him in. When she said this the lump in my throat. But I felt she was the vet and she knew best. So I said id think it over. Thing is I asked all my family n they were not really interested(family split up) although my dad said to leave him, but dad was sometimes old school mean so didnt really listen to him. I decided to go with it, they assured me they'd be watching him the whole time on a drip giving him oxygen etc..this didnt happen...My instingt told me he wasnt able for such an op, wasnt being walked enough and too old, however i felt id no1 to ask and felt silly asking people not everyone values animals(how v silly of me and this makes me so mad with myself) the night before the op i still wasnt sure - i told dad he was gonna decide when he came home from the pub - but unfortuately my brother turned up drunk banging on the door - he wasnt allowed in the house as he was too abusive etc..he wrapped on the door for hours until eventually we had to let him in - there was a row, my dog went into my bed for safety and peace - he trusted me. the next morning after v little sleep - i ordered my brother to bring the dog in for his app with the vet. I reluctantly went to work - v nervous ringing my brother to say im not sure about this but at like 10am that morning - they called me to say he was dead!!!!! I fel like the ground had been removed from underneath me - the worst thing that ever happened to me and iv had alot of bad things happen to me but i loved this dog to bits. he was walking and still eating he may have been in pain sometimes but no need to kill him. WHY DID THE VET HAVE TO REMOVE HIS TESTICLES SHOULD SHE NOT HAVE KNOW HE WAS TOO OLD FOR THIS! HE WAS STILL FRESHLY GROOMED - I COULDNT BELIEVE HE WAS LIFELESS - WHY DIDNT THEY JUST TAKE OUT THE LUMPS N LET HIM LIVE A BIT MORE??? THEY SAID HE WOKE UP AFTER THE OP THEY PUT HIM IN CAGE AND CAME IN 15MINS LATER AND HE WAS DEAD - MY HEART IS BROKE FOR HIM THERE ON HIS OWN..WHERE WAS THE OXYGEN AND DRIP THEY TOLD ME ABOUT? I think if your average fundie Christian saw an apparatus criticus, he'd probably start the five stages of grief, beginning with denial, of course. Since English Bibles are translations of edited texts, I find it amusing when some preacher focuses on one word or phrase with no idea what the original texts say. They are invariably wrong about their interpretations because, quite frankly, they're ignorant.

higher gauge strings may work, perhaps you can try only stringing the treble strings with the heavier gauge while keeping the others standard, but you'll have to ask an expert to make sure that neck warping/intonation problems won't occur. it wouldn't hurt to work on finger strength, but don't get frustrated: the higher strings are just more difficult to sound out as prominently. you can also try pulling off the higher strings with a bit of extra force so that the string is louder for the hammer on. best of luck to you

Why am i having problems booting with my overclock?

i have a dual core e7200 processor and the thing has only boot at 3.8 ghz once now, but during that boot it was flawless as i tested it using super pi and i gamed in BC2 for 2 hours. I also tested my WEI with it. in order to get that clock speed i did a 9.5x multiplier with an fsb of 400 mhz (ddr2 800 ram running in 2:1 ratio). however i just moved my computer to a different room and now even if i change my voltage from the 1.32 that i used to attain 3.8 ghz up to 1.45 volts, the computer still refuses to boot at anything more than 8.5x multiplier with fsb 400 (3.4 ghz). why am i having these discrepancies in boot-ability if my temps never went over 55C under full load at 3.8 ghz? does it need even more voltage? am i grounding it out? does my motherboard suck? maybe i could use a bios update? my motherboard is a microatx gigabyte g31m-s2l
